DynamOcean installed two new tide gauges in Vannes and Larmor-Baden in July and August 2025 on behalf of GMVA. Shom, the French hydrographic and oceanographic office, visited the site on 8 and 9 September to level the sensors within the French General Levelling System (NGF).
The tide gauges were also calibrated using a radar height gauge calibrated by Shom as a reference measurement. Levelling and calibration are key steps in the commissioning of tide gauges and ensure the accuracy of measurements.
